Black Desert How to Get Karanda Knowledge
World Bosses and Field Bosses in Black Desert Online offer a nice PvE-side to the game, and what's more important, they can fund you with the most craved boss-gear you can find! In a useful update, even more meaning has been given to auras obtainable from World Bosses and Field Bosses, as these are required for guaranteed PEN armors & weapons.
The world bosses arrive according to a pre-determined system, you can find the pictures of this below. If you don't want to miss out on these, I suggest you set up in-game notifications: ESC> Adventure > Boss Notification. This is a new and very useful feature that has finally been made available within the game.

Some useful information about bosses:
- World Bosses share HP across all servers (except Arsha and Olvia servers, because they don't even spawn here)
- If you die during the battle, you will get the death penalty
- If the boss doesn't die, it will despawn after 30 minutes
- The damage done counts in getting the loots, but – with more luck – you can get loot even if you just touched the boss
- Some bosses have an awakened form: it spawns instead of a base boss, provides a greater fight experience, and gives even more useful loots
- As long as the boss lives, the area around it is a Safe Zone
Let's break down each one of them, and discuss where you'll find them, how to gain knowledge about them (therefore better damage & better drops), as well as the attacks you should expect and the strategy you should follow in order to not die (too many times), even if the boss spawned in its awakened form.

Kzarka, The Lord of Corruption – Main Weapon
Kzarka is the easiest to reach, and easiest to kill world boss in BDO. Might not be the easiest to stay alive through, but almost always the number of people fighting Kzarka is enough to kill him in 5 minutes or less.
Location
Kzarka spawns deep inside Serendia Shrine, just a few minutes south of Heidel. It's definitely the most popular boss, since it has the most weekly spawns of any other world boss, and well it drops the Boss-Gear main weapon that all classes are after, especially when starting out in the game.
Knowledge
Increase amity with Hakkon, the node manager of Serendia Shrine. When successful you can see Kzarka's health bar, and if you're lucky and get an S knowledge, you will get a higher drop change on the boss weapon.
Strategy & Attacks
Kzarka could be easily considered as one of the easiest bosses to kill (since most of the times it's packed with people), but at the same time it's one of the hardest to die to, since there is only one special attack that is dangerous for 1-shotting you.
Claw
Kzarka attacks quite a small area in front of him. Easy to avoid if you make sure to stay at his back.
Breath
Damages an area in a cone to one pillar. The area will be marked just before the AOE starts. Hide behind that one pillar or simply get out of the marked area to dodge this attack.
Fog
The entire room centered on Kzarka and ending at the pillars gets covered in a deadly fog. When you don't dodge this ability it will kill you. Most people usually pay attention to when everyone runs away from Kzarka and then follow.
Meteors
Small circled areas get marked and then hit by meteors. With low health and DP this attack can still potentially kill you. Easy to dodge however.
Loot
Kzarka's most important drop is the Kzarka Sealed Weapon Box. This drop easily saves you 100 million silver during the early game since buying it will cost about that much. Further he also drops hunter seals, black stones and various crystals.
An alternative to the Kzarka Sealed Weapon Box drop is getting 100 Latent Aura's from Kzarka because they allow you to create a sealed weapon box as well. In my opinion on average you get about 3 aura's for every 2 times he's defeated.
Awakened Form: Nightmarish Kzarka
Nightmarish Kzarka is much more powerful than the regular Kzarka but he will drop more valuable loot. It can drop up to TET (IV) Kzarka Main Weapon Box, and higher value Gold Bars.
The battlefield in this case will be much steeper than in the case of the base Kzarka. Nightmarish Kzarka is already hitting a huge AoE ability on the audience waiting for him upon his arrival. Roaring and Black Breath is an attack-type in which nearby targets are pulled and dealt with a powerful blow. When he casts Tentacle Summoning, you will receive a movement speed/attack speed debuff upon hit. Always avoid the red circles to survive!
Karanda, Queen of The Harpies – Awakening Weapon
Karanda is the second boss discussed today. Harder than Kzarka but easier than the other bosses she makes for a nice step up in your BDO journey. Luckily many people visit, so it only takes a few minutes to defeat. The loot of her base form is also pretty good, but in awakened form, she has the most valuable drop of the 4 awakened forms.
Location
Karanda can be found on Karanda Ridge which is located north of Delphe Knights Castle and Calpheon. When you walk up the mountain you'll easily run into her.
Knowledge
Increase amity with node manager Clarkster of Karanda ridge. To increase this you have to gain knowledge on the harpies there and then talk to him.
Strategy & Attacks
Claw / Wing Slash
Close ranged standard attack. Easy to dodge as long as you stay behind her. When you catch aggro she will turn towards you with this attack.
Shriek
Shriek is Karanda standard ranged attack. When you catch aggro and are out of range for her claw attack she will shriek to attack you. It's a projectile attack which follows you and does moderate damage.
If you run away in a straight line it might still hit you because she shrieked before you left her range. Hiding behind the various small obstacles at her spawn will get you in the clear as well.
Harpies Attack
She will fly into the air, differently from 'Ascend' and call upon her subjects. An army of harpies comes to Karanda's aid. These harpies are not very strong but still capable of dealing damage at low amounts of DP.
Try to stay with the bunch of players also at scene in order to deal with them quickly and not taking too much aggro from them yourself.
Ascend
A close range AoE attack which is easy to dodge once you know the animation. Karanda knocks down on the ground, jumping up in to the air immediately. You want to make sure to get away from her asap to dodge the deadly fall of featherdaggers that follows.
Slow Ascend
A long range AoE attack. Just as easy to dodge as Ascend when you pay attention. For this attack Karanda doesn't hit the ground but instead just flies up slowly. A rain of featherdaggers then falls down in a wide circle around her. Move in close to/under her to dodge this attack.
Loot
Karanda drops the best awakening weapon in the game through the Dandelion Weapon Box. Further there's, just like with Kzarka, a chance at crystals, black stones, silver, gold bars and hunter seals. Karanda also drops feathers.
An alternative to the Dandelion Weapon Box drop is getting 100 Latent Aura's from Karanda because they allow you to create a sealed weapon box as well. She throws one or two of them.
Awakened Form: Stormbringer Karanda
Stormbringer Karanda is much more powerful than the regular Karanda but she will drop more valuable loot. It can drop Heart of Karanda, which is a very useful weapon reinforcement, it's an alternative to the Garmoth heart as it provides +1 Crystal Slot and + 3% Critical Hit Damage. It can drop up to TET (IV) Dandelion Weapon Box, and higher value Gold Bars.
Stormbringer Karanda's attacks are much more deadly: she can summon a lot of Harpies, can rain a series of piercing feather attacks, and she can even lift you into the air. I think she's a less nerve-wracking boss than Bloodstorm Nouver, plus she has very good loot. If I manage to get out of every red circle, sometimes I even manage to escape the encounter with her alive.
Ancient Kutum – PvE Sub-Weapon
Kutum is in my opinion the hardest of the 4 'normal' world bosses in BDO it is an ultimate skill check on yourself and your reaction times. The boss attacks quick and deadly but once you have control over its movements it'll be a lot of fun.
Location
Kutum is located "in" the Desert. You don't have to travel the desert to get there. Star Anise Tea and Purified Water are a must (unless the Oasis event is live). To reach him you travel upwards in Valencia past Cadry Guardians.
Knowledge
Kutum's knowledge can be gained by increasing amity with Desalam. An archeologist found in front of his cave. There's also a quest which allows you to gain knowledge.
You have to find 5 artifacts in the cave and talk to two more people to get it. This likely doesn't result in high grade knowledge which makes increasing amity with Desalam the leftover choice.
Both the quest and Desalam can be found here:
Greet Desalam from us.
Strategy & Attacks
Cleave
Kutums standard melee attack. Multiple hits of which the first one deals a ton of damage. Kutum has an animation (he somewhat pents up) before every cleave so you'll see it coming. I recommend more than 200 Dp for Kutum just because of this attack. The first attack causes stiffness so when you don't dodge it all others hit you as well.
Spit
Kutums standard ranged attack. Deals minimum damage and he will only use it when you're taking aggro from far away at the edge of the cave.
Burrow
He digs himself into the sand to jump twice. The attack deals high damage and includes a knock down in a big area around the place he unburrows. Classes with block can stand idle on their spot. If you face Kutum straight on it will not deal damage. If you're not facing him the damage is minor. If this isn't working for you try leaving the chamber until he unburrows.
Emerge
After his two attacks Kutum will unburrow in the middle of the room and deal damage to everyone close to the middle.
Vacuum
Kutums strongest attack. It charges for a while before he uses it so you'll be able to see it coming in time. The range is long so your best bet is blocking it.
Super Kutum
Reach 50% HP and Kutum will go mad. He'll burrow and instead of attack immediately emerge in the middle of the room stronger than before. The whole cavern will be damaged by lightning which you can block if your class allows it. Otherwise you should run out of the cavern. All of his attacks will deal more damage and another lightning attack will be used from now on.
Lightning
Once Kutum goes mad he will 1-2 times per fight use an AoE lightning attack which will basically cover the whole room but a small area around him. As the animation is different than the Vacuum or Cleave attack it is pretty easy to see and therefore to dodge by moving in close to him.
Loot
Kutum's Sealed Sub Weapon Box is the second boss gear sub weapon in the game. Very important for late game PvE grinding since it gives a lot of accuracy and Dp which allows you to hit those monsters at Hysteria and Ghyfins but also to survive their attacks. Further Kutum also drops Latent Aura's, Black Stones, Crystal's, Silver and Hunter Seals.
Awakened Form: Thundercloud Kutum
Of the Awakened bosses, perhaps Kutum's mechanics is the most difficult to understand. In terms of loot, it brings the usual, with some extras: a weapon box containing a Kutum sub-weapon that is enhanced up to TET(IV), higher value Gold Bars, and Kutum's Power Stone, which is an Alchemy Stone, it enables you to deal damage to monsters and debuff DP of your enemies.
Its fighting style is easy to characterize, it creates thunder clouds, but he loves to do it at a lot of variation. Consider the clouds as a puzzle. You simply have to enter a stone chamber that is of the same color as the clouds to clear them away. In addition, Thundercloud Kutum will begin to use powerful skills as soon as your HP falls below a certain level. In his case, I would not be in a red circle either.
Nouver – PvP Sub-Weapon
A massive dragon and in my opinion the current coolest boss in BDO. His harder-to-reach location makes him less popular than the others. Fortunately, the players still love to visit him, and if he spawns in his awakened form, he gives us even more valuable prey.
Location
South-East of Sand Grain Bazaar he isn't located as frighteningly deep in the desert as most people think. Make sure to stock up on Star Anise Tea and Purified Water (unless the Oasis event is live).
Knowledge
Getting knowledge on this boss is a little more annoying than the others. You have to go to Ibellab Oasis which is located in the desert.
You might want to bring energy tonics as well as the anise tea and water. With the energy tonics you can reset the knowledge as many times as you want until you get that wanted A+ or S.
This would mean that before you go here, place an alt at Calpheon library where it'll cost 10 energy to reset. Then it'll cost 35 energy to refresh the knowledge by taking to Eugene in Ibellab.
Once you're properly prepared you search for Eugene in Ibellab and complete his three missions. They are all the same, you have to locate a book close to the oasis in the desert.
Before you walk into the oasis you should use your map to position yourself at the right angle and then just run into the desert until the quest circle (small yellow dot) appears on your minimap.
After the third quest you will get the knowledge simply by talking to him.
Strategy & Attacks
Claws
Once again we start with the most frequently used attack. Nouver quickly turns his body up to 180 degrees to slash his claw through the air. He stops at the player who is taking aggro at this moment which means he might sweep the entire distance or just a small part. He lifts his paw shortly before swinging it so when you're quick you can dodge it.
Body Slam
Nouver lifts his wings, winding up a tiny bit in one direction before lashing out the other way around. The hitbox includes a 90 degree angle from his head to the back of his legs and a smaller hitbox at the opposite side where his tail and legs move.
As a ranged class you're recommended to back away. As a melee you could try to dash through its legs to the other side when he starts winding up. Be careful of the tail though because you might still get hit.
Jump
Nouver jumps and smashes into the ground to deal damage. Before jumping he crouches as a predator would. He crouches in the opposite direction of the jump and can jump to any side, even backwards.
Fire Breath
Just before using fire breath Nouver will lift the upper half of its body. He can breathe fire more than once but will lift his head every time. Either dodge sideways since it is a small cone or try to dash past him when he starts lifting his head to get in some free attacks at his backside.
Burrow / Sandstorm
Nouver burrows underground leaving a sandstorm behind. The storm doesn't move but can knock you down when you get caught in it which will leave you vulnerable to its multi attack. When you're caught in it spam evasive abilities to get out.
Flying fire breath
Nouver flies up and rains fire on his challengers from the sky. When you get hit it can result in a knock down which endangers you to get hit multiple times since he often targets the same place more than once. Relying on sound to dodge this attack works better than sight since the fire moves very fast.
Loot
Now the reward for learning this entire world boss, Nouver's Sealed Sub Weapon Box. The best PvP sub weapon in the game and an important item for every class. Further Nouver is eligible for Latent Aura's, Black Stones, Silver, Crystal's and Hunter Seals just like the other bosses.
Awakened Form: Bloodstorm Nouver
Bloodstorm Nouver is even more powerful than the pre-existing Nouver. He will drop more valuable loot: up to TET (IV) Nouver Sub-Weapon Box, and higher value Gold Bars. I will give you the most useful tip: the characters who died and chose to resurrect at the nearest Node will spawn at Pilgrim's Sanctum: Sincerity. And then you can walk back from here and try again.
It has assorted abilities that can ram you into the sand. He has the ability to shout a sandstorm in the form of a funnel, then don't face him, try to move out of the red part. As the battle progresses and Bloodstorm Nouver's life runs out, he creates a phantom using the sandstorm, and then a base Nouver also goes into battle. This dragon must also be defeated, and there will be a reward for it too.
Offin, the Mirumuk Destroyer – Strong Main Weapon
Offin is the strongest boss of the five base one. I would recommend at least 250 DP for this boss and a proper amount of potions. Use gear without crystals if you don't want to lose them and your EXP. The fragment he drops is different from the others in that it is needed to craft the Krogdalo's Earth horse set.
Location
In Kamasylve, north of Central Lemoria Camp very close to the mountains lies Mirumok Ruins.
Knowledge
To gain knowledge over Offin you need to increase amity with Anbelif at the Old Wisdom Tree.
Strategy
This boss is a lot less commonly known than the others. A quick explanation would be that Tett is controlling Offin from inside the machine. The cockpit is guarded but you can shoot at it with matchlocks until it breaks.
The other strategy is destroying its roots. Once the last root is destroyed Tett will come out and you can fight him. There will be 3 Tett's but the yellow one is the real one. The two blue Tett's shouldn't be attacked but you do want to be careful as his spear charge attack will be deadly when all three Tetts throw their spear at the same time.
The spear lands in the ground and deals AoE damage around the impacted area. Once the first root is destroyed Tett will come out of Offin. When his HP sinks to 70% he will re-enter Offin.
Then when the second root is destroyed Tett will come out again and then move into Offin once more when he drops to 30%.
When you destroy the third root Tett will come out a last time for you to kill once and for all. If you have broken the cockpit with matchlocks Tett will not re-enter the cockpit which means you'll only have to destroy the first two roots.
Loot
You can get the new Boss main-hand from Offin Tett's Sealed Light Weapon Box, or by exchanging 100 Offin Tett's Light Fragments with one weapon. Offin Tett's Light Fragment works like the Latent Aura of other World Bosses.
Dikzipo the blacksmith in Graana will make the weapon for you. Further rewards include Valtarra's Eclipsed Belt, silver, gold bars, black stones, and the Lemoria set.
Garmoth, the Red Dragon – Garmoth's Heart
Everyone's favorite dragon. Maybe she's one of the most popular bosses right now, because of her attractive drops (more details below), a lot of people are waiting for her every time, so expect a little lag as well. If you're just getting to know the bosses, I suggest you make sure to visit Garmoth as much as you can!
Location
Garmoth spawns at Garmoth's Nest, not far from Duvencrune. You have to ride a few minutes from Heidel by the time you get here, so I suggest you leave a little earlier. If you might die, you can revive very close at the node.
Knowledge
Knowledge for Garmoth can be acquired by completing a very simple quest. The quest, called 'About the Crimson Dragon Garmoth', can be picked up from NPC Odelphin. The only mission is to hand over x5 Garmoth's Scale to Odelphin, you can buy these at Central Market.
Attacks & Strategy
The number one and most important rule in this fight is not to stand inside the red circle. Do not stand face against the dragon, rather attack from behind and hit her foot. Use the block wisely in different situations, and be ready to move according to her abilities:
Landing Attack
Garmoth smashes into the ground from the air and performs a wide-ranged fire attack.
Roar
Garmoth's roar inflicts damage to a wide area. She then summons the Kagtums to help her in battle. These must be killed because Garmoth only then descends to the ground again, where she becomes vulnerable. Kagtums are easy to kill, send AoE damage between them and you will also get a little silver from them. The dragon summons them twice during the whole fight.
Meteor
Garmoth pours a shower of flames onto the ground from mid-air. Try to dodge these areas because they deal CC and significant damage.
Fire Breath
Garmoth exhales a straight line of fire. She uses this ability when she is on low HP, preferably don't get in her way because it deals significant damage and burns.
Loot
Garmoth's most valuable loot is Garmoth's Heart. This item could be sold for approximately 8-9 billion on the Central Market. And from a usage standpoint, this item is useful because once you've further crafted it (into an Inverted Heart of Garmoth), you can put it into weapons. In this case, it provides the following bonuses: +2 Crystal Slot and Critical Hit Damage +3% in an Awakening Weapon or +150 Max HP, +100 Max Stamina, and +10% Special Attack Evasion Rate in a Sub-weapon. With this drop, you should think carefully about whether your gear is at the level where you should use the item, or rather you should sell it to buy better gear for the price.
The second most valuable thing you can knock out of the dragon is Garmoth's Horn. If you were so lucky to get this item to defeat Garmoth, exchange it with NPC Gerson, and you will receive a Young Crimson Dragon pet! And there is still what is very valuable: the Caphras Bundle. It contains a random number of Caphras Stone between 50 and 100.
Other obtainable items: Garmoth's Scale, Akum Defense Gear (Helmet, Armor, Gloves, Shoes), Kagtum Submission Ring, Gold Bar 10G, Cron Stone, Black Stone (Weapon), Black Stone (Armor), Stabilized/ Cleansed/ Pure Magical Black Stone, Black Energy Residue, Hunter's Seal, Combined Magic Crystal (Macalod/ Hoom/ Gervish)
Good luck to Cronmoth!
Vell, the Heart of the Ocean – Vell's Heart
Vell is the only scheduled water monster in the boss raid. He is different from other world bosses in that it is not enough to injure him with the character's abilities, he must be damaged with cannons. Why is it so popular nonetheless? Because his heart can be sold for more than 9 billion in the Central Market. Half an hour before it appears, a warning of its arrival will appear on each server. Well, here you have to prepare for a real lag (in many cases, it's a good idea to lower the game's graphics as well).
Location
Vell is on the open water, so if you don't have perfect orienteering skills, you'd better take a compass with you. It will appear in Vell's Realm, north of Lema Island, so you will definitely need a boat too.
Knowledge
Okay, now I'm going to be completely serious: you don't need a quest or anything, you just have to bring the last hit into Vell. It is that simple. I've been to Vell a lot of times, but I haven't succeeded yet.
Strategy & Attacks
So what you'll need: a ship (if you have to deal damage, a shooting ability), a compass, and advisable to go with geared character. In this fight you don't necessarily have to take damage, just be a member of a Platoon where someone else wounds instead of you.
From the moment you see Vell's HP bar, you're already entitled to his drop. At the start, a whirlpool will form before Vell's appearance, and any ship caught in the whirlpool will quickly lose its durability. Vell finally arrives with its sealing stone. You can attack Vell from outside of the sealing stone with cannons.
High Jump
If Vell takes enough damage, it'll get enraged and launch a powerful attack. The message, "Vell is enraged. Watch out!", will be displayed, and then Vell jumps out of the ocean to cause a massive surge. At this time, you must hold on tightly to the ship's cannon/helm, or dive deep into the ocean to avoid the waves. Until it finishes the attack, stay underwater, but you will also recognize the end of the attack that plenty of characters will die around you.
Loot
Unlike the other bosses, this monster doesn't drop the rewards right into your inventory, you must search at your Black Spirit's Safe. This is where the Vell's Reward Bundle (Advanced) comes in, which you need to open separately. The most valuable thing that can be in it is a Vell's Heart or Vell's Concentrated Magic. Needless to say, how unlikely are they to drop, but worth more than 9 billion in the Central Market. This is the best Alchemy stone in the game currently.
Other drops: Gold Bars (up to hundreds of millions of silver), Rainbow Coral Ring, Caphras Stone, Cron Stone, Vell's Fine Powder, Golden Pearl, Ancient Spirit Dust, Blue Whale Tendon, Corals and Coral Pieces, Black Stone (Weapon and Armor), Hunter's Seal.
Quint, the First Troll, and Muraka, the King of Ogre
The special thing about them is that they always spawn at the same time. So defeat them one after the other, and you can even get an Ogre Ring as a reward. Unfortunately, they are not among the most popular bosses of today, there are times when they need to despawn for lack of popularity. It is a fact that their loot cannot compete with a Garmoth's drop, it would be very appropriate for them to have a rework.
Location
Quint is located at Quint Hill, Northern Calpheon. Muraka is located at Mansha Forest, Western Calpheon. As Quint dies, you must hurry to reach Muraka. The fastest way to do this is to go from Quint to Muraka on the designated road, but when you reach the Calpheon Castle W. Forest node, you climb the hill directly to Muraka.
Knowledge
To gain knowledge over Quint and Muraka you need to increase amity with Vype Stone at North Heidel Quarry, and buy it from its shop.
Strategy
At EU, we hit Quint first, and then everyone goes to Muraka. This may vary from server to server, so pay attention to which boss your server prefers first.
Quint
In Quint Hill, there is a huge stone troll standing, Quint. He will start jumping all over the place as he escapes his statue form (when summoned), significant damage can be inflicted on him when he falls. However, be careful near it, as it will start to trample in a few phases, then it will cause quite significant damage, it is easy to die. The boss, on the other hand, moves slowly, so if you pay close attention to his moves, he can be easily tricked.
Quint is vulnerable with cannons too, you can buy a "Vype Stoner Cannon Assembly Set" and "Monster Basher" from Vype Stoner, the Serendian Cannon Master to attack him.
Muraka
Like Quint, Muraka is a huge ogre who moves slowly so he can be easily cheated. However, do not underestimate the powerful AoE skills of Muraka, or else you'll die easily. As his health decreases, he will hurt more and more, pay particular attention to his ability when it hits the ground. If you pay attention to all of these, just squeeze as much damage out of yourself as you can.
Muraka is vulnerable with cannons too, you can buy a "Vype Stoner Cannon Assembly Set" and "Monster Basher" from Vype Stoner, the Serendian Cannon Master to attack him.
Loot
Quint
Quint gives a Quint Reward Bundle to your Black Spirit's Safe (like Vell). After opening, it may contain the following: Quint Statue, Black Magic Crystal – Hystria or Harphia, Mutant Enhancer (7 to 20), Black Stone (Armor or Weapon), Hunter's Seals. The most valuable of these is the Mutant Enhancer, of which 100 can be exchanged for an Ogre Ring.
Muraka
Muraka's most valuable reward is the Dim Ogre Ring, which when you open it can even have a DUO Ogre Ring in it. Muraka also drops Mutant Enhancer (from 1 up to 5) which can be exchanged for an Ogre Ring. Other drops: Hunter's Seal, Black Stone (Armor or Weapon)
Pro Tip: Boss Alts
On the one hand, it's important to create multiple (if possible enough for all) boss alts because you save a lot of time by not having to walk to every boss, but just switching there. And on the other, during boss fights you can lose your crystals, you can lose EXP: on a larger level, it is already too big a loss. The best thing is to be able to put 1 alt on each boss.
Be at least level 56 so you don't die easily and deal a little damage. Either be in season gear or equip them with Oasis set from the Oasis vendor. And if we look at what classes are worth creating, we clearly need to put the votes down next to the ranged classes because they will make it easier to stay alive. I like archer for this purpose, for example, but a witch can also do good service.
Field Bosses
Field Bosses in Black Desert Online are much different from world bosses. You may have encountered these bosses in other situations (such as scrolls that can be collected from the Black Spirit, Guild Summon scrolls, or Dark Rifts), but this time they are much tougher, deal more damage, and you won't be alone enough to defeat them. These behemoths appear on random servers at random times (except Dark Shadow), so they try to lurk in their territory using the beginning of the surprise (this is at least a fixed location).
Their spawn is indicated by a server message, but players often notify each other through server chats because more damage is needed to defeat them. These days, unfortunately, quite a few people go to field bosses, though the loot is quite worth it (mostly boss gears). Field bosses appear roughly once a day and appear on four random servers.

Dim Tree Spirit
His drop is pretty good. Dim Tree Spirit's Armor is a yellow-grade boss armor, if it is enhanced to TRI, it will give +200 HP and 79 DP (36 Evasion + 43 Damage Reduction).
Location
Dim Tree Spirit spawns near Western Guard Camp. Easily accessible from Velia, but also close to Heidel.
Strategy & Attacks
Its powerful smashes and far-reaching swings may seem easy to dodge, but one stumble will result in a swift end to your adventures. When he starts to turn red, he will whip three giant stones at anything in his line of sight. Take advantage of his size and get into melee range so he can't target you with the projectiles. At one stage in the fight, he goes underground to gather energy, coming up from there causing significant damage.
Loot
Dim Tree Spirit's Armor, Tree Spirit Belt, Liverto Weapon Bundle, Awakening Weapon Box (Blue-grade), Ancient Spirit Dust, Dim Tree Spirit's Latent Aura
Red Nose
His best loot is the Red Nose's armor, which is a yellow-grade boss armor. Successfully enhancing Red Nose armor to TRI will grant you 79 DP (36 Evasion + 43 Damage Reduction).
Location
Red Nose spawns near Western Guard Camp (at north).
Strategy & Attacks
In his case, too, the eternal MMORPG rule is useful, according to hitting from behind is the safest tactic. Once Red Nose has significant damage, he will enter a rage and performs a shockwave attack. It can easily get into our lives, so it will be better to stay away from it. While raging, watch their moves, and if he takes a breath, go further away from him because that means a jumping attack will follow, dealing damage and CC if you get in his way.
Loot
Red Nose's Armor, Liverto Weapon Bundle, Awakening Weapon Box (Blue-grade), Ancient Spirit Dust, Red Nose's Latent Aura
Dastard Bheg
Bheg's best loot is the Bheg's Gloves, which is a yellow-grade gear with bonus accuracy. If you enhance them to TRI, you will get 46 Accuracy, All Accuracy Up, and 50 DP (22 Evasion + 28 Damage Reduction).
Location
He spawns at Northern Heidel Quarry, halfway between Heidel and Velia. The Bastard Bheg icon on the map is elsewhere, but like Field Boss, it appears here.
Strategy & Attacks
He swings a giant hook around to perform ranged attacks that deal high damage. When he roars out, he will turn red and will swing his took twice in front of him. Then it is wise to stay away from him. When his HP drops to a certain level, he will enter a fueled rage where he will swing his hook multiple times, so approach Bheg with caution. It will be best if you try to inflict damage on him from behind.
Loot
Bheg's Gloves, Liverto Weapon Bundle, Awakening Weapon Box (Blue-grade), Ancient Spirit Dust, Bheg's 's Latent Aura
Giant Mudster
Of all the field bosses he, unfortunately, has the most worthless loot. It may not always be worth defeating him.
Location
He spawns at Glish Ruins, near Glish.
Strategy & Attacks
He is a very slow snail boss, who will want to catch you by slowing you down so that you do not run away from him. Most of Giant Mudster's big attacks begin when it shrinks down in size. He will charge forward towards a target, dealing damage. If it shrinks while raining down mud around itself, then small Mudsters will be summoned. Stay away from them or kill them before they can explode. In the later stages of the fight, he will move to the Northwest of the Swamp Naga Habitate, follow it there, and defeat it.
Loot
Mark of Shadow, Liverto Weapon Bundle, Awakening Weapon Box (Blue-grade), Ancient Spirit Dust
Unfortunately, none of these are very valuable loots, they can only be sold for a few million on the Central Market.
Katzvariak
Katzvariak is again among the Field Bosses who have not won my favor in the field of loot. Poor, how many times does he disappear sadly without anyone trying to pick a fight with him…
Location
He appears in Tshira Ruins. Tshira Ruins is located at Drieghan, North Eastern from Duvencrune.
Strategy & Attacks
It can move freely above and below ground, threatening adventurers with its powerful, poisonous attacks. Katzvariak covers areas with poison that deals damage to your characters. Make sure to stay away from the green poisonous gas. Once it covers a total of 8 areas with poison, it will detonate them to inflict huge damage, so it's a good idea to keep track of where the poisonous areas are.
Loot
Eye of the Ruins Ring, Akum Armor, Combined Magic Crystal – Macalod, Combined Magic Crystal – Hoom, Combined Magic Crystal – Gervish, Ancient Spirit Dust
The most valuable of the drops is the ring, which is a yellow-grade accessory that can be sold at a relatively high price in the market.
Black Shadow
He is the newest Field Boss in the world of Black Desert Online. Finally, a Field boss whose all drops are extra valuable! He is the only field boss to show up at a pre-determined time (once a week). In NA: Saturday 22:00 (UTC), Saturday 15:00 (PDT), Saturday 18:00 (EDT). In EU: Saturday 15:00 (UTC), Saturday 17:00 (CEST).
Location
He spawns at Marni Farm Ruins, East from Calpheon.
Strategy & Attacks
Once it starts flapping its wings in the sky, move well out of range or behind it to avoid being targeted by its breath attack. When it takes a lot of damage, it drops loot and leaves for another area such as the Balenos, Serendia, or Calpheon regions. Since this Field Boss travels quite a long distance, having a horse ready is recommended to chase after it.
Loot
Blackstar Armor (Up to +10), Mass of Pure Magic, Specter's Energy, Enchanted Scroll (+20, 30, 40), Ancient Spirit Dust.
The most valuable of these pieces are undoubtedly the Blackstar armors, the basic pieces can also be sold for hundreds of millions in the Central Market. Mass of Pure magic is an enhancement material for these armors and weapons that is relatively difficult to obtain, so this is also a valuable drop, while Specter's Energy is the item needed for the Blackstar quest, at the end of which you can acquire Blackstar armor or weapon pieces.
